Christian schools are well positioned to counter this trend and offer a deeper, broader understanding of teaching and schooling and to avoid the mistake of reducing teaching to what can be tested. This workshop will focus on the importance of staying connected to the complex, creative, and compassionate realities of being a teacher.

Faith and Doubt

At the close of the Gospel of Matthew, after the disciples had personally witnessed the death and resurrection of Jesus and right before they were commissioned to make disciples of all nations, we are told: "When they saw him, they worshiped him, but some doubted." Join us as we reflect on these questions and their implications for the Christian teacher and classroom.
