Why do we teach? When we boil it down, it is because we want to do what is best for the students we lead. We want to mentor them, to inspire them, to empower them, to provide them the tools they need to be successful in life. We want to make a difference. The big question is, “Are we actually doing that?” Inspired by Angela Duckworth, Carol Dweck, Paul Tough and more, "Grit Leadership" helps us realize what we are accidentally doing wrong when leading our students, and how we can make changes to more appropriately impact and empower our students for success.
