Poetry is fun! Poetry is a useful tool to engage learners of all ages.  This session will cover using poetry to raise cultural awareness, teach grammar, and motivate students. You will walk out with ideas to use in your classroom on Monday morning.

Becky Witte is a former teacher at Ada Christian School. This fall she started on a new adventure as a doctoral student at Michigan State University. She has an interest in infusing social justice into middle grade classrooms.
